If Algifol™ is used early in the growing season it will improve early rooting and green leaf cover therefore suppressing weeds and retaining soil moisture. In cold spring conditions it can help protect the small plants from the effects of cold weather and the toxic shock effects of harsh herbicides.

A good green leaf area is needed to intercept sunlight and provide energy for the plants to turn this into sugar. By using Algifol™ crop vigour is increased and the plants are healthier and less prone to disease and pest attack.

As Algifol™ is compatible with other pesticides and herbicides we recommend a spray interval to fit in with your existing application programme using 1 litre per hectare up to three times during the season.

In recent years tests have shown that by using Algifol™ sugars are increased by as much as 2% and yields can increase by as much as 10% making a healthy profit over investment.
